This French Empire style chandelier is made of iron & tole with a painted brown finish. The piece dates back to the mid 20th century, and features a combination of simplicity and detail. The crown attaches to the center through five chains, with a spiral element featured on the top and bottom of the center ring, followed by lace like detailed ironwork below. The arms feature flowing acanthus leaves, petal like bobeches, and a budding candle cup within which the light extends from. The chandelier has a beautiful French countryside feel to it and is set to bring a beautiful taste of the country to any home.
