This fine Louis XVI round marquetry table features gorgeous bronze mounting and is most notably and uniquely stamped by the maker, ‘Krieger.’ Maison Krieger was one of the most well-regarded furniture makers in Paris, established in 1826 and known for an extremely high quality of work. This French antique piece dates back to the 19th century and of course keeps the maker’s quality in tact. It features a beautifully patterned top which is framed in bronze. The fluted and tapered legs sport bronze capitals with marguerites at the top. The apron holds a recessed bronze band with a round and square floriate design. The piece is balanced, stately, and elegant, exuding the same effortless pride and confidence with which it was created.

19th Century Louis XVI Bronze Chandelier with Arrow Feather and Rooster Head Motif
Item Number: 4789
This detailed Louis XVI chandelier is cast in bronze and dates back to the 19th century. The French antique piece most notably sports a rooster head motif on each of the eight scrolling arms. The arms themselves are draped in acanthus leaves and fleurettes, ending in beaded bronze bobeches. The crown at top is detailed and patterned. Moving down the stem we find flowing arrow feathers tucked into a unique orb-shaped center, which is itself patterned simply. The details culminate in a charactered and balanced fixture.
