This exquisite three-piece set consists of a large central mantel clock and a pair of matching candelabras. The Imari wear features a white background highlighted with foliage and abstract work in striking reds, blues, and golds. The mantel clock is especially unique, usually seen topped with a gilt bronze element, but in this case a red Japanese figure is placed. The bronze d'ore work is finely detailed with classic Louis XV motifs. The ribbon work, foliage, and movement in the pieces are simply a few examples. The central vase is of course the most ornate, featuring the clock in the mid section, and a pair of putti at the base keeping the ribbon work taught. The gorgeous details of the bronze d’ore candelabras, specifically the cups and bobeches, are equally impressive. Clock: 17" wide x 12" deep x 27" tall Candelabra: 11 1/2" diameter x 26" tall
