Extremely Fine French 19th Century Louis XVI Writing Table

This beautiful Louis XVI writing table features a top inlaid with geometric parquetry and framed by a bronze band. The French antique piece dates back to the 19th century and sports a center drawer with a finely chiseled bronze scroll floral mount.  The mount is flanked by round ribbon and reed pulls. The table stands on fluted and tapered legs with bronze floriate mounts recessed within the flutes at top. Bronze feet bookend the piece at bottom, culminating the details in this classically balanced writing table.
