This Louis XV – Louis XVI Transition garde a manger is made of delicately light walnut, with one door featuring an elaborate escutcheon and carved spindles at the top opening. The French antique piece is in beautiful shape, dating back to the 18th century circa 1780. The piece has simple lines with floriate carvings at top, below the straight crown, and on the bottom apron. This was originally made as a kitchen cabinet, for storage of jars and other kitchen necessities of the 18th century.

Grand Louis XVI Mahogany Cabinet with Bronze d’Ore Mounts, French 19th Century

This Louis XVI four door mahogany cabinet is adorned with bronze d'ore swags and mounts throughout;  on the doors are floriate swags with a bow ribbon motif at center.  Between the top large doors, and the lower doors is a grouping of intertwining leaf scrolls.  The bottom doors are simply decorated in the classic Louis XVI manner, with short feet crowned with bronze d’ore capitals and bottoms. Additional details are seen in the bronze d'ore escutcheons as well as the gold leafed bronze in the fluting at bottom and the mounts at top left and right. Pair of Italian 18th Century Wood Gilt Mirrors

This beautiful pair of Italian Louis XV mirrors date back to the mid 18th century, circa 1760. They are fantastically hand carved with outreaching scroll and foliate work. Note the crest at bottom, the cross work in the middle portion indicative of Louis XV, and the added elements extending north, east, south, and west giving both great movement and balance. The gold portions are gilded, that is they are painted with real gold, and the visible wood background is hand painted.
