French 19th Century Napoleon III Cassolettes (Covered Urns)

This Magnificent pair of grand scale Napoleon III cassolettes feature solid rose marble and are covered with fantastic bronze d’ore mounts. The French antique pair dates back to the 19th century, circa 1860. Each side is adorned with bronze d’ore cat tails, and acanthus leaves. A square base rests at bottom, with an accompanying handle on top of each piece, all made of the same bronze d’ore.
