This extremely fine Louis XVI mahogany writing table dates back to the 19th century and features detailed bronze d’ore mounts. The piece is most notably signed by Paul Sormani, one of the most famous cabinet makers, originally from Italy, with a shop in Paris in the 1800s. The signature reads, “P. Sormani & Fils 10 r. Charlot, Paris.” Finally, the piece features an inset leather top with a bronze inlay, as well as fluted Louis XVI legs with bronze feet. It’s a stellar example of Sormani’s craftsmanship and style.

This beautiful pair of Louis XV style satinwood tables dates back to the 20th century and features curving cabriole legs classic to the Louis XV style. The pair plays host to a reticulated bronze galleries at top, bronze mounts on the upper edges, and bronze caps on all feet. Each table has a large center drawer with two slim yet ornately detailed bronze handles. The patterned parquetry provides a beautiful canvas for the styled mounts to shine.
