French 19th Century Louis XV Bronze Chandelier with Patinated Bronze Cherub
Item Number: 6643
This beautiful Louis XV chandelier is made of finely chased bronze and features a patinated bronze winged cherub suspended from the center branch. The French antique piece dates back to the 19th century and offers details from every angle. The center stem resembles beautifully flowing fabric tied at the top with a tassel, and tassel ends throughout. The arms themselves resemble branches and are draped with berries and leaves. They are beautifully tied together by another bronze element resembling fabric, as they reach up to meet gorgeous petal shaped bobeches, bronze drippers, and beaded candle cups. The piece is beautifully inspired by nature at every corner, yielding a fixture filled with natural movement and a gorgeous sense of balance.
