This whimsical Dutch brass chandelier features a unique scroll design on each of three arms. The piece dates back to the late 19th century, when electricity was first put into fixtures, hence the pointing downward of the lights. Note the elements on the brass details resembling stylized fluerettes. The design connecting to the central ‘dutch style’ ball is reminiscent of cabriole table legs, and offer a great sense of movement to the balanced piece.
