French 18th Century Directoire Gilded Garniture Set

This Directoire period, painted and gold leaf gilded tole jardinière set features a beautiful centerpiece with matching side urns. The French antique trio dates back to the 18th century and sports gorgeous details with gold figures standing in allegorical poses. The jardiniere’s central figure sits playing a lyre, attended by an angel in flight on either side. Large angels to her right and left carry the floral seat upon which she rests. The centerpiece’s handles feature detailed profiles as well, also seen at the right and left of each side urn. Final details rest on the aforementioned side urns as golden figures stand, draped in flowing cloth and holding offerings to the scene pictured on the centerpiece.

French 19th Century Louis XVI Bronze & Crystal Chandelier

This Louis XVI bronze chandelier features a plethora of thick cut crystal as well as bronze candle cups and bobeches. The French antique piece dates back to the 19th century, and sports a crystal center. The fixture is draped with crystal fleurettes and cut-crystal plaquettes in varying shapes. The crown is draped in the same way with alternating shapes of cut-crystal plaquettes hanging from crystal plaquettes from each arm. The piece is well balanced, with breadth in between the crown and row of lights emphasized by the thick crystal stem.

This absolutely gorgeous Louis XV three drawer parquetry writing table features finely chiseled bronze d'ore mounts on cabriole legs. The French antique piece dates back to the 19th century, and is adorned with acanthus leaves and a detailed allegorical face at the top of each leg, which land on lions’ paw feet.  The desk is inlaid with a gold-tooled leather writing surface framed in bronze d’ore, with a fantastic d’ore face at either end.
