This French Napoleon III chandelier is cast in bronze, and dates back to the 19th century. The piece most notably features a center urn embellished beautifully with female herms. Following the fixture downward, we find six arms adorned with acanthus leaves, they extend outward to bronze drippers and detailed bobeches. At center, the arms end in bunches of grapes, a detail which is mirrored gracefully in the finial at bottom.

Late 19th Century Belle Epoque Basket Chandelier
Item Number: 0801
This French Belle Epoque woven basket chandelier is made of bronze and dates back to the late 19th century. Uniquely, and impressively, outside of the porcelain flowers, the entirety of the piece is made of bronze, including the woven basket. The chandelier features a bow ribbon at top with three outreaching arms extending down towards the basket center. Bronze–stemmed vines with small porcelain flowers grow up these three supports, accompanied by bronze leaves. The three lights extend downward from the basket resembling the stamen of a flower.
