This magnificent Louis XV satinwood cabinet is trimmed with dark wood and mounted with bronze. The french antique piece dates back to the 19th century and features two grilled doors alongside two solid doors fashioned from Coromandel panels. It was fashionable in the 19th century to use coromandel panels as doors, and to work these designs into the construction of French furniture. Final details can be found in the bronze escutcheon on each door and the cabriole legs with bronze mounts upon which the cabinet stands.
