This beautiful early 20th century French chandelier features both fantastic crystal work and a delicately ornate crown. The crown features a grape motif, alluding to Bacchus the god of wine. Its bronze glimmers in the light from 3 intertwining interior bulbs. Beads of crystal, octagonally cut pieces first, then pointed tear drops hang below. Three concentric rings follow in this pattern giving the chandelier four crystal tears and ultimately a beautiful sense of movement in a classic style.

French 19th Century Gothic Revival Chandelier
Item Number: 619x
This unique Gothic Revival chandelier dates back to the 19th century and displays the style immaculately. The curvature in the center mirrors the architecture of the time period. A fleur-de-lis crown rests atop the chandelier, and each of the five lights feature fleur-de-lis bobeches with spiraling bronze elements below. The key handle finial on the base and crown work to bookend these simple yet powerful bronze elements. The bronze itself is burnished, giving the piece a slightly copper-red shimmer, and creating a simultaneously polished and weathered style in the chandelier.
