This heavy 19th Century Louis XIV chandelier features two tiers of bronze. Sleek bronze candle cups, bobeches, and acanthus wrapped arms envelop a center embellished with further acanthus leaves, light fluting, and pattern work. French 19th Century Louis XV Bronze Chandelier
Item Number: 382x
This beautiful French Louis XV chandelier is made of bronze and features elaborate leaf castings. The piece dates back to the 19th century. Note the precision in the casting; the intricate bronze crown, the detailed open stem moving downwards to the arms surrounded by grape vines. Finally, the piece is finished at bottom with a bottom finial of grapes. The open center combines with the 24 outreaching arms to give a wonderful sense of movement in this stately chandelier.
