This beautiful and incredibly rare Swedish Directoire chandelier is the oldest in our vast collection. The piece dates back to the early 19th century, circa 1840, and features gilded arms, six pierced tole rings draped with ropes of pear shaped crystal beads, delicate long crystals, and plumes of horizontal cylindrical crystals rising up from the main ring. Lastly, the chandelier sports delicate octagonal crystal beads draped from the top of the crown.

The crown resembles a gothic revival sunburst, connecting to the lamp in three positions. The lamp itself features detailed casting with scroll work and patterned embellishments, a handle, top, and two arms. It has been fully converted to electricity.

This French Louis XIV bronze d’ore chandelier is richly detailed and features a finely chiseled shell motif at the center. Notice the movement and definition from the crown, through the center stem, as we venture toward the arms. The arms are heavily detailed in themselves as they each embody an outreaching acanthus leaf to hold the candle at their end. Rounding this 19th century piece off is an acorn finial and dart and egg pattern at the bottom.

This Chinese black lacquer cabinet features most notably semi-precious stones that are carved in the shape of birds, flora and fauna, and set into the piece itself. The carvings give added definition and allow the birds and flora to stand out even more so from the hand painted elements on the front, top, and sides. The piece features one drawer and two doors, adorned with gold trim. The floral painted designs throughout are set in a gold frame on the two front doors, drawer, and sides. The hardware is brass and original to the piece and the inside is black lacquer. Lastly, the top is decorated with a gold painting on black lacquer.

French 19th Century Louis XVI Gold Leaf Mirror

This gorgeous Louis XVI rectangular mirror is gold leafed, and dates back to the 19th century, circa 1860. The top of the piece features a pair of male and female figures laid back with garlands flowing beneath them. The frame is adorned with carved and gold leafed acanthus leaves, two urns to the outer right and left, and an inset frame which is connected to the outer frame by delicate ribbon work. It’s a detailed and beautiful depiction of hand carving with gold leaf.
