The fauteuil pieces are beautifully carved and feature arched, canted, rectangular backs, over bowed seats within serpentine arms, all shimmering from the gold leaf covering. Each chair is raised on cabriole legs ending in scroll feet with a front carved with shell center, and acanthus leaves. The upholstery is gorgeous and in fantastic shape, featured on the seats, fronts, and arms. The backs upholstered on the backs, seats, and arms in fine floral tapestry, with the back classicly are upholstered in a classic French cotton plaid.
