The piece also features beautiful cups and bobeches made of the same gilded wood. It supports an impressive 54 lights, grouped in clusters of five from the outreaching arms, as well as single lights around the elaborately carved and gilded center of acanthus leaves.

This exquisitely large Louis XVI side-board is made of mahogany and dates back to the 19th century. The piece features four drawers, five doors, and hand-chased ormolu mounts. Each door has a raised beveled panel with the edges covered in bronze d’ore mounts as well as an additional band of mahogany molding. The exterior of each drawer has inset panels surrounded by bronze d’ore mounts. Finally, the top is beautifully curved and contoured and finished with a gorgeous polish.

This French Louis XIV bronze d’ore chandelier is richly detailed and features a finely chiseled shell motif at the center. Notice the movement and definition from the crown, through the center stem, as we venture toward the arms. The arms are heavily detailed in themselves as they each embody an outreaching acanthus leaf to hold the candle at their end. Rounding this 19th century piece off is an acorn finial and dart and egg pattern at the bottom.

This French Restauration torchere is made of beautiful cast iron and burnished bronze. The piece dates back to the 19th century and was originally made for gas. Its accented with seven branches, each still featuring their own control for the gas jet. The stem is fluted, and supported by three bent legs which end on a triangular base with lions’ paw feet featuring gold leaf and a gold patina.

This exquisite Napoleon III two door server features heavily chased bronze d'ore mounts and dates back to the 19th century. The piece in which it is modeled after was designed in the 18th century for the King’s Library at the Palace of Versailles, and in fact remains at the palace still. The marquetry is finely detailed, the center featuring tulip wood, a slightly green wood commonly known as tulip or yellow poplar, satin wood, and pear wood all together combining to show the flower motif and urn on its side. Finally, the top is made of breche violet marble.
