This early 19th century Renaissance mantel is made of immaculately and heavily carved oak. The piece features a large head in the center with a carved string of flowers draping to the sides, held up by two beautifully detailed full figures on each side. A lyre, violin, and sheet music is featured on the left panel, and a shield on swords rest on the right panel. 19th Century French Louis XV Bronze Chenets

This magnificent pair of French Louis XV bronze chenets (andirons) date back to the 19th century. They feature patinated bronze putti, also known as cherubs, that rest on beautiful and immaculately cast bronze d’ore. The cherubs represent art and literature as one holds a hammer and chisel and the other a book. These would make a magnificent addition to any fireplace.
