This French hanging lantern is made of beautifully cast bronze and dates back to the mid 20th century. The ribbon work at top is classic Louis XVI style, and the details continue in the top patterned ring, the scroll work in the bronze along side the split glass panes, the pattern work in the bottom ring, and finally the three beautiful acorn finials at bottom. Three lights are suspended upward from a central stem which attaches to the enclosed top. Lastly, simple acorn finials rest below the three lights, seen through the lantern’s open bottom.
