French 19th Century Restauration Mahogany Buffet with Bronze d’Ore Mounts and Grey Marble Top

This phenomenal Restauration mahogany two door side board features a plethora of finely chiseled bronze d’ore as well as a fantastic contoured Bleu Turquin marble top. The French antique piece dates back to the 19th century and hosts elaborate pierced bronze d’ore escutcheons on each drawer, with bronze d’ore escutcheon on each door below in the shape of a torch and flame with a bow ribbon detail. Ornate bronze d’ore ram heads can be found at bottom as they rest above the carved mahogany lions’ paw feet. The piece is well balanced in its shape and placement of the gold leafed mounts with movement provided by the mahogany and dark and light grey marble at top.
