Pair of Italian Painted Iron Sconces

This stately pair of Italian two light sconces feature painted black iron and date back to the mid 20th century. The duo features iron candle cups, bobeches, and floriate finials at top and bottom of each back plate. The intertwining backplate and arms creates wonderful movement, which combines with the simplicity of the painted iron to produce a well balanced pair.
