French 19th Century Empire Chandelier

This classic Empire style chandelier features patinated bronze with bronze candle cups and bobeches. The French antique piece dates back to the 19th century and is adorned with beautiful scrolling arms from the patterned center. The arms play host to elements of nature as well as detailed bobeches and simple candle cups. Graduated ropes of octagon cut crystals cascade from the leaf crown to the large center ring, and subsequently back down to the central stem at bottom to complete the classically Empire basket shape.
