19th Century Chinese Coromandel Screen

This Mid 19th century Chinese 8 panel black Coromandel screen features incredible craftsmanship and detail. The panels are embellished on both sides with court figures and buildings emulating life in “The Forbidden City.” As the eye ventures, you can see two men playing a table game, men in a boat fishing, animals throughout, and a gorgeous floral border around the top, bottom, and sides. The details continue with gorgeous flora and fauna, as well as various game birds.
