Pair of French 19th Century Louis XVI Painted Fauteuils

This pair of French Louis XVI carved & painted fauteuils (open armchairs) are adorned with beautiful feather dome finials & block marguerites. The pair dates back to the 19th century and is raised on circular tapering stop fluted legs which end in stylized toupie feet. Finally, the pair is upholstered in gold silk damask.
