French Late 19th Century Gothic Revival Iron Chandelier with Winged Dragons

French late 19th century Gothic Revival iron chandelier made for electricity – we can tell since the bulbs are pointing down, to show the novelty of the electric light. Each arm is a winged dragon joined to the center, holding a ring in its mouth holding flower petals, with a bulb that is the stamen, pointing down. The center ring is adorned with alternating large Maltese Cross motifs. The larger rings to which the dragons are joined, is suspended from a smaller ring of identical design, joined by twisted iron rings in a “V” design, with a hook at the top.
