French 18th Century Louis XV Walnut and Marble Top Console

This beautiful Louis XV console features fantastically carved walnut below a countered marble top. The marble features a slightly green hue and is know as 'Vert d'Estours' marble. The walnut features a shell motif classic to the Louis XV style, which can be seen at top, on the apron, and on both legs on the diagonal. The piece rests on scrolled feet
