Early 20th Century Louis XVI Bronze and Crystal Chandelier

This chandelier dates to around the invention of electricity, and thus features downward facing lights, a novelty of the electric light era. This chandelier features draped octagonal crystals hanging from a bronze ring, with fleur de lis sprouting from the top of the ring. An acorn finial adds a decorative element to the bottom, and crystal centers are found under a beautiful bronze crown.
