19th Century Napoleon III Mahogany Architect’s Table

This fantastic French Napoleon III architect’s table is designed in the Louis XVI manner and dates back to the 19^th century. The table is made of mahogany and features a locking cantilever top which angles towards either side. The top is patterned, and surrounded by finely chased bronze, also found throughout the entirety of the piece. Note the detailed bronze at the top and bottom of the legs as well as the spiral work surrounding the cantilever top. Lastly, an elaborate Louis XVI stretcher sits at bottom, connecting the four legs.
