French 19th Century Louis XVI Bronze Chandelier

This fine French bronze Louis XVI chandelier features bronze candle cups, drippers, and bobeches of flower petals.  The classically elegant 19th century chandelier plays host to scrolling arms adorned with acanthus leaves. The piece offers details in plenty, note the crown of fringed drapes at top, the three woven ropes extending below, meeting a floriate garland. A woven, detailed basket of flowers is found beautifully at center. Finally a floriated finial rests at bottom.
