19th Century Louis XVI Bed

This French Louis XVI carved and painted bed features a headboard and footboard upholstered in fine cut velvet.  The piece dates back to the 19th century, and hosts an urn with acanthus leaves flowing from floriate decorations at the top center of the headboard. A Greek key carving is found on either side, with short fluted feet at the base.
