19th Century Louis XIV Bronze d’Ore Chandelier

This impressive Louis XIV chandelier features exquisite bronze d’ore and an impressively detailed stem. The 19th century piece sports d'ore candle cups, each nestled in a finely chiseled bobeche in the form of a cornucopia, (fruit basket). Each arm on the French antique piece is adorned with an acanthus leaf at center, classic to the Louis XIV manner. A crown of acanthus leaves sits at top with an acorn finial bookending the piece at bottom.
