Biedermeier Pedestal Table, Circa 1840

This 19th century round Biedermeier pedestal table features fantastic artistry and craftsmanship. The top is inlaid with exotic wood, the base is inlaid with vertical stripes, and the foot features a horizontal inlay of the same design as the top band. The table top is centered with a classic sunburst inlay of a lighter wood. The edge of the table top is reeded, and inlaid with fleurettes of lighter wood.
