French 19th Century Louis XVI White Carrara Marble Mantel

This extremely large French Louis XVI white marble mantel features an apron embellished with a fantastic square marguerite on each end, and dates back to the 19th century. The contoured shelf has an old, beautiful gothic edge. The pilaster on either side, supporting the apron, is adorned with three flutes carved into the marble, in a restrained Louis XVI manner.  The simple details combine with the classic white marble to produce a classically beautiful 19th century mantel.
