French 18th Century Louis XV Mantel made of Polished Rose Stone

This delightful  Louis XV mantel is constructed of velvety polished rose stone with two unusually deep sides that set in the wall. The French antique piece dates back to the 18th century, crica 1760, and features a classic Louis XV carving seen in the curving shell motif at center.
