Italian 19th Century Louis XV Floirate Painted Chest with Faux Marbre Top

This beautiful Louis XV style painted chest features bronze knobs and escutcheons on each of four drawers.  The Italian antique chest dates back to the 19th century and is painted in a floriate design on front and sides, trimmed with gold edging, and hosts a bouquet of flowers on the scrolled center apron. The faux marbre top is painted to give the illusion of a marble top inlaid in the top of the chest, with gild edging. Finally, the piece rests on cabriole legs at bottom.
