Exquisite set of Six French 18th Century Period Directoire Chairs

Exquisite set of six French 18^th century Period Directoire carved, painted, and gilded side chairs with gold acanthus leaves cascading down each side from palmette leaves, swags and wreath in the center of second back splat of each.  The seats of the chairs are supported by sabre legs at the back, and modified cabriole legs at the front that are gilded in sections.
