French 19th Century Louis XVI gold leaf mirror with foliate decorations

This gorgeous Louis XVI rectangular mirror is gold leafed, and dates back to the 19th century, circa 1880. The piece is a combination of giltwood and gilt-gesso. The top of the piece features beautiful foliate decorations in classic to the Louis XVI style. The frame is adorned with carved and gold leafed beadwork, and marguerites at the upper right and left corners. It’s a detailed and beautiful depiction of the Louis XVI style.
