This French Napoleon III chandelier is made of immaculate bronze d’ore and dates back to the 19th century. The piece is intensely defined in detail; note the acanthus leaves at top, center ring, egg and dart motif, and grape finial at bottom. The center ring attaches to the arms with the help of a beautiful profiled face, topped with urns and garlands. Outreaching to the arms, the piece features beautiful scroll work with acanthus leaves and detailed cups and bobeches. The 30 light piece is poised to bring a stately presence to any room.
