Pair of 19th century Chinese Rose Medallion Vases with Bronze Mounts

This gorgeous grand pair of mid 19th century Chinese Rose Medallion Temple Jars features gold foo dogs on either side, and pair of gold salamanders on the front and back.  The porcelain itself is in great condition, and beautifully hand painted. Each piece is adorned with fantastic antique French bronze mounts; at top we see a beautiful egg and dart design around the rim, moving downwards floriate bronze arms extend to detailed lions’ heads with flowing hair. Finally, the pair rests on on antique bronze bases made in the Louis XVI manner.
