French Early 19th Century Renaissance Revival Oak Mantel

This early 19th century Renaissance Revival mantel is made of immaculately and heavily carved oak. The piece features a large head in the center with a carved string of flowers draping to the sides, held up by two beautifully detailed full figures on each side. A lyre, violin, and sheet music is featured on the left panel, and a shield on swords rest on the right panel. A patterned carving frames the fireplace, resting below the contoured mantel shelf.
