This exquisite Russian chandelier features incredibly fine rock crystal and a bronze d’ore frame. The rock crystal can be found most notably in the magnificent and massive centerpiece which surrounds the stem, as well as the spears on the upper tier. The shape of the piece, the arms especially, is extremely unique, and the detail on the cups and bobeches is incredibly fine. Notice the bronze hooks draping from the rock crystal center, a shape mirrored in the bronze elements resting on the rock crystal spears. The arms on the upper tier wrap around themselves giving added detail and movement, and pieces of amethyst can be found alternating at the top. The piece dates back to the 1860s

Ormulu Mounted Japanese Imari Porcelain Clock Set, 19th Century

This exquisite three-piece set consists of a large central mantel clock and a pair of matching candelabras. The Imari wear features a white background highlighted with foliage and abstract work in striking reds, blues, and golds. The mantel clock is especially unique, usually seen topped with a gilt bronze element, but in this case a red Japanese figure is placed. The bronze d'ore work is finely detailed with classic Louis XV motifs. The ribbon work, foliage, and movement in the pieces are simply a few examples. The central vase is of course the most ornate, featuring the clock in the mid section, and a pair of putti at the base keeping the ribbon work taught. 19th Century Louis XVI Bronze D’Ore Chandelier

This elaborate French Louis XVI bronze d'ore chandelier dates back to the early 19th century. The casting is immaculate, starting with the acanthus leaves adorning the crown and top of the stem, and venturing down towards the three cherubs playing horns at the center. Imagining these golden cherubs reflected in the original candle light gives the chandelier a truly magical feeling. The cups and bobeches are filled with detail. The leafy bunch of grapes as a finial at the bottom is likely an ode to bacchus, the god of wine. The 32 lights combined with the themes of wine and music produce a unique and detailed piece.

Regence Painted Buffet à Deux Corps, Early 18th Century

This early 18th Century painted Buffet a Deux Corps is truly immaculate. The piece is a true period piece, made in the Regence era when Louis XV was too young of age to rule so the country was ruled temporarily by King Phillipe D’Orleans. The cabinet is hand painted and hand carved with beautiful detail and features two open shelves on the sides and a pull out drawer in the center. Its rare to see the hand-carved elements on top of the piece present and in this condition given its 18th century origins. The hardware is original to the piece, as are the six doors.

Pair of Gold-Leafed Louis XVI Consoles Stamped “Krieger”

This pair of late 19th century Louis XVI free-standing consoles are both beautiful and unique. The Demi-lune (translated to half moon) consoles are most notably stamped by the artists “Kreiger.” The pieces are gold leafed and possess the original Carrara marble. The carving is beautiful, fluted legs are joined by an urn adorned apron. Ribbons of foliage flow under the marble, and details abound throughout.The piece has been retouched with silver leaf on the flower of each apron as well as he petals on the center of the stretcher.
