This French 19th century sconce is made of both patinated bronze and bronze, and features a classic demi-lune, ‘half moon,’ shape. The backplate features a pineapple above acanthus leaves at top. As the eye moves downward, we see a floriated bronze decoration above patinated bronze elements. The half moon shaped element is wrapped in simply patterned patinated bronze, and features three lights, each with beaded drippers above acanthus leaf covered candle cups.

This small French two tier bronze chandelier features crystal bobeches, a bronze center, and arms adorned with acanthus leaves. The bronze center is beautifully cast with acanthus leaf details stretching towards the crown as well as the base. The chandelier is draped with a multitude of crystals; ropes of octagon shaped crystals flow between the arms as well as the crown, crystal prisms rest in the lower tier alongside sunburst teardrops, and cut crystal plaquettes.

19th Century Louis XVI Walnut Bergere

This classic French Louis XVI bergere is carved from beautiful walnut and dates back to the 19th century. The top of the contoured back features pristinely carved roses and leaves, alongside floriate carvings throughout. The sides, back, and seat are caned, with upholstery on top of each arm. Square “Marguerites” can be found carved at the top and side of each fluted leg, which are themselves graduated in size towards the bottom. 19th Century Regence Gilt Wood Armchairs with Original Aubusson Tapestry

This set of three extremely fine French Regence armchairs features beautiful gilt wood and dates back to the 19th century. The fauteuil pieces are beautifully carved and feature arched, canted, rectangular backs, over bowed seats within serpentine arms, all shimmering from the gold leaf covering. Each chair is raised on cabriole legs ending in scroll feet with a front carved with shell center, and acanthus leaves. The upholstery is gorgeous and in fantastic shape, featured on the seats, fronts, and arms. The backs upholstered on the backs, seats, and arms in fine floral tapestry, with the back classicly are upholstered in a classic French cotton plaid. Lastly, each chair has a carved giltwood “X” form, serpentine stretcher attached to its four legs.

18th Century Louis XVI Twin Bed with Beautiful Hand Painted Details

This 18th century French Louis XVI painted and gilded bed features elaborate, beautiful paintings. The piece offers plentiful details in great condition especially for their origins in the 1700s. The exterior of the foot board is embellished with three groupings; in center a pair of doves sit on a mandolin, which rests on open sheet music. This piece is flanked by the left and right; on the left by a pair of hearts are seen on a shield, with a torch and quiver over a bed of roses. On the right a sheave of wheat rests over sickles, a spade, and a rake, over a wagon on a bed of roses. Floral elements and framing are spread throughout the piece, all of which rests on a golden background. Headboard: 48" tall x 50 1/2" wide; Footboard: 40" tall x 50" wide
