Bronze d’ore mounts are abundant in the piece; gadrooning with acanthus leaves and open circles is found on all four sides, as well as bronze d’ore acanthus leaves at the top and bottom of each leg. The mounts are mirrored on all sides, making this a perfect centerpiece for a room. Finally, the piece features one large drawer.

19th Century Napoleon III Mahogany Architect’s Table

This fantastic French Napoleon III architect’s table is designed in the Louis XVI manner and dates back to the 19th century. The table is made of mahogany and features a locking cantilever top which angles towards either side. The top is patterned, and surrounded by finely chased bronze, also found throughout the entirety of the piece. Note the detailed bronze at the top and bottom of the legs as well as the spiral work surrounding the cantilever top. Lastly, an elaborate Louis XVI stretcher sits at bottom, connecting the four legs.

French 19th Century Empire Mahogany Writing Table with Bronze Heads and Lion Feet

This classic Empire writing table is made of decedent mahogany and features detailed bronze mounts balanced with precision. Dating back to the 19th century, the French antique piece sports bronze Egyptian heads above each leg. Each head is angled to face the room on the diagonal.
