Unusual Italian Iron and Tole Chandelier, Single or Pair

This Italian tole chandelier features an incredibly unique design and dates back to the early 20th century. Curved, patterned tole extends from the crown to hold cone shaped tops resembling candle snuffers. The six lights rest behind a six sided shade, also made of tole, with bands resembling lace wrapped around the top and bottom. The arms themselves extend from a vase shaped center, which they mirror with added fluting. Each is finished with a simple finial, putting a beautiful period on the sentence that is this character filled chandelier.

The piece is a gasolier, meaning originally gas burning chandelier, and still sports the keys to turn the flow of gas on and off.
