Pair of 19th Century Louis XV Bronze d’ore Candelabra with Cupids and Sevres Porcelain Insets

This pair of French Louis XV candelabras feature finely chiseled bronze d’ore with beaded drippers, candle cups, and bobeches. The pieces date back to the 19th century and comes with accompanying bronze d’ore snuffers in the form of grapes and leaves.  Each of the five light candelabras feature a Sevres inset depicting Cupid. The stems of the candelabras themselves are also Cupids, each one being unique; one is shown holding a sickle, signifying his harvesting the grapes,  the other is holding a goblet, enjoying the grape harvest that was made into wine. The pair combines to show a plentiful harvest and the joy in consumption. Finally, the base of each is adorned with an acanthus leaf on either side, and centered with a block marguerite.
