19th Century Parisian Street Light Hanging Lantern

This unique lantern comes from the streets of Paris and dates back to the 19th century. It was originally a standing lantern made for gas to light the streets of Paris in the 1800s, but has since been converted to a hanging lantern and is wired for electricity. The piece is made of patinated copper and bronze and features a turret at the top as well as bronze palmetto flowers around the base of the copper dome.
