This Louis XVI painted dining room table features a richly carved apron with block marguerites on all four corners. The French antique piece dates back to the 19th century, circa 1850. Round, fluted legs are carved with acanthus leaves and end in small block marguerites at the base. A heavily carved stretcher intertwines to connect all four legs. It features yet another carved marguerite at center. The table extends with space in the center for leaves. Uniquely, a pair of legs drops down to the right and left offering additional support for the extensions.
