This fine Louis XVI round marquetry table features gorgeous bronze mounting and is most notably and uniquely stamped by the maker, ‘Krieger.’ Maison Krieger was one of the most well-regarded furniture makers in Paris, established in 1826 and known for an extremely high quality of work. This French antique piece dates back to the 19th century and of course keeps the maker’s quality in tact. It features a beautifully patterned top which is framed in bronze. The fluted and tapered legs sport bronze capitals with marguerites at the top. The apron holds a recessed bronze band with a round and square floriate design.
