This pair of Venetian hanging lanterns features painted and pierced tole and dates back to the 19th century. The antique Italian pair is adorned with floriate decorations and glass panes. They were originally created as procession lights and hung on the end of poles, later rings were added to the top as they were wired for electricity to complete their conversion to the hanging lights seen here.
