This one of a kind Art Nouveau chandelier was originally hung from the Musée D’Orsay building, one of the most well known Museums in Paris. The museum was originally built as a train station known as Gare D’Orsay, and the piece would have been one of a handful of chandeliers helping to light travelers on their way. It reflects the immaculate architectural elements of the space and features unusual teardrop shaped crystal from the top bobeches, cut and polished crystal plaquettes, and a stamp on the bronze base. This piece is a true part of French history.
